About Chris Delzio
My name is Chris Delzio. I am a Registered Representative with Lebenthal Financial Services, Inc. and have been in this field since 1976.
My career started in 1974 at the age of 18 when I bought my first investment: 5 call options on Polaroid. I made a little money and became fascinated with how the Stock Market worked. Two years later, I was a runner on the Chicago Board Options Exchange.
Since then, I have been a member of the New York Stock Exchange, Philadelphia Stock Exchange, and American Stock Exchange. I was also a retail stockbroker for Merrill Lynch & Paine Webber in White Plains, NY. The experiences I accumulated on the trading floor have proved invaluable; they gave me an understanding of how and why markets move the way they do.
When it comes to applying assets into the markets, working with an experienced professional is essential. This is the only field I’ve ever been in, and I’ve seen many things happen since 1974. The world of investing has become very complicated. In just the past few years we’ve witnessed changes that normally occur over a period of decades.
